GradWatch Login Notes

GradWatch is designed for applicants and current students within the NCSU College of Engineering. Though we try to work as quickly as possible to get all applicants into GradWatch, it will take one to two full business days after you have submitted your application before you will be able to log in to GradWatch. Please refrain from reporting trouble logging in until this time period has passed.

There may also be a delay in you application entering GradWatch during University Closings. If you've applied near one of the dates listed on this page, it may take an additional few days to process your application. Again, please allow two to three business days after the university has re-opened before reporting issues logging in.

Current Students: Login Using Your Unity ID and Password

Applicants: Login Using Your Student ID or ApplyYourself ID
Your NCSU Student ID Number is a 9-digit number you received from the NC State Graduate School. Your ApplyYourself ID a 7-digit number you received during the application process.
This is the date you entered as your birth date into ApplyYourself. The format is YYYY-MM-DD.
If you are an applicant, this is the e-mail address you entered into ApplyYourself. If you are a current student at NC State, this is the e-mail address you have entered into SIS as your primary e-mail address.

Having Trouble Logging In?

Please use the chart below to determine whether or not you need to report a login issue regarding GradWatch. The date that you receive your Student ID Number from NC State is irrelevant to your GradWatch login date. In most cases you will receive your Student ID Number before you are able to login to GradWatch. Also note that the chart below does not account for University Closings. If you apply during a time period the university is closed, you will not be able to login to GradWatch until two days after the university has reopened.

Once your Login Problem Date has passed, if you are still unable to login, please contact gradwatch@ncsu.edu with your Student ID Number, name, birth date, and your application e-mail address.

Please note that gradwatch@ncsu.edu is for technical support. We cannot answer any questions about your application status, eligibility, or sponsorship status. Please direct all questions of that nature to the graduate office of your academic department. This information can be found at the bottom left of GradWatch once you have successfully logged in.
