Welcome To Survey Server
Survey server allows authorized user to create instant online surveys. Each survey can be tailor-made to the users needs including features such as:
- Automated start and end dates
- A multitude of field options for each survey
- Ability to restrict responses to predefined groups or to specific NC State IDs
- Optional anonymous results
- Optional export of results data to Excel worksheets

Who is allowed to create a survey?
Currently any faculty, staff or student at NC State University can create their own survey -- your unityID is required to login.
Who is allowed to respond to my survey?
Currently any faculty, staff or student at NC State University can respond to a survey provided the survey creator has granted access to the individual or to a group to which the individual belongs. As Survey Server is powered by LDAPSurfer, the WolfTech tool for automatically sorting and categorizing all university employees and students, you'll have the ability to use pre-defined groups such as members of a department or course when restricting who can take your survey.
